This is where you come in. We are looking for an IT Security Specialist to join our team, committed to safeguarding our IT infrastructure. As part of our IT Security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our systems across various platforms and ensuring our digital assets are secure.
What is in it for you
Your primary responsibility will be assisting in securing NORDEN's infrastructure and data according to current threats and trends. You’ll act as the technical lead on security implementation, integration and migration projects, while also handling day-to-day security task and analysis. Collaborating closely with our IT Operations and Support team, you will ensure our systems remain protected and compliant.
Additionally, you will play a vital role in shaping the future IT security landscape at NORDEN, and the work around defining our infrastructure and security strategy for the years to come.
The tasks that await you
More specifically your areas of work will contain, but not be limited to:

Participate in project preparations and execution.

Carry out IT Policy roll-out.

Conduct security risk assessments.

Partake in the execution of training activities.
Your competences and core qualifications
As a person, you take pride in building good relationships with stakeholders and are able to work on your own, while still prioritising the team. It is energising for you to work around both technology and support. And you want to build upon your competences in the area and pass your knowledge on to colleagues.
Apart from this, you have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Security Services.

Experience with data analysis and data processing.

A high interest in IT security and processes.

A structured approach to your work and an eye to spot details.

Good English communication skills.
