This is where you come in. You will become a member of our Projects & Parceling team in Singapore and take on a significant role where you will plan, coordinate and optimise voyages with a focus on breakbulk cargoes.

As an Operator in Projects & Parceling, you will integrate into a cooperative team that emphasises a responsive commercial and operational environment. The tasks that await you
In this position, you will be responsible for the day to day planning and execution of voyages, focusing on breakbulk cargoes, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to NORDEN’s operational standards.
Voyage planning & execution

Plan and oversee voyages, including loading and discharging operations.

Coordinate ordering of materials, bunkers and port services.

Update voyage itineraries and ensure accurate operational follow-up.
Communication & stakeholder coordination
-
Maintain daily communication with internal teams.

Liaise with crew, charterers, agents, stevedores and third-party service providers.
Documentation & compliance
-
Manage bills of lading, manifests, laytime statements and letters of indemnity.

Handle freight calculations, invoices and other operational documentation.
Operational problem-solving
-
Identify and act on optimisation opportunities.

Address challenges that occur during the lifecycle of a voyage.
Your core qualifications
You bring proficient organisational and operational abilities and thrive in a role that requires coordination and follow-through. Besides this you hold:

1-3 years of experience as a Vessel Operator.
-
A good system understanding, we use SEDNA and IMOS.

Familiarity with project cargo, unitised cargo and liner terms.

Understanding of market practices and charter party terms.
Moreover, we are looking for you who have an approachable nature and problem-solving skills are significant, as you will need to interact with a broad array of stakeholders.
You are adept at making decisions and handling daily operations while prioritising the needs of the team before your own agenda.
